I’ve known sweet Molly and her family for a really long time now. From cheering with her sister to visiting her parents and grandparents at their home town grocery store in my bare feet as a little girl, I can’t remember a time that I didn’t know the Slaydon family. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them many times over the last few years and I am beyond thankful for all of the support that they have given me throughout this crazy photography journey of mine.
So of course, I was more than excited when they contacted me to photograph Molly’s big day.
Brandon and Molly were married in a intimate ceremony overlooking Toledo Bend at a family friends home on the evening of Saturday July 16.
Brandon’s adorable little girl Baylee and Molly’s niece served as ring & flower girls, as well as the couples best friends as their wedding party.
Molly opted for a “first look” with her Daddy prior to the ceremony and saved that first look for her groom as she walked down the isle.
They were married by Brandon’s grandfather in a perfect little ceremony right before sunset. The couple opted for a “ring warming ceremony” where their wedding bands were passed through the hands of every single guest as they stopped to say a special prayer or blessing for their marriage. It was such a sweet sight watching everything bow their hands and lift this couple up.
We finished up the evening with some of THE BEST FOOD ever (Oh my goodness, it was so good) and then the couple are headed off to New Orleans to leave on a cruise for their honeymoon! Seriously, this day was so calm and laid back and minus the Louisiana July heat, I can’t think of a single thing that could have gone better.
Congratulations Brandon, Molly, & Baylee.
Thank you so much for allowing me to share a special time with your family again<3
